Most vendor comparison pages are a list of ticks in one column. These are not that. Every page below opens with the case for the other product, because the fastest way to waste a fortnight is to trial the wrong category of tool.
MunkiSee is deliberately narrow: it reports whether a Windows device is active, idle or offline against hours you defined. No screenshots, no keystroke logging, no app or website history, no productivity percentage. If you need any of those, one of the products on this page is a better buy than ours.
Feature grids run to sixty rows and change nobody's mind. In practice a shortlist collapses on these five, so they are here on one screen. Each product's full page has the detail and the caveats.

Reviewed August 2026 against each vendor's public product documentation. Every one of these products is configurable, and most teams switch things off — but a capability that exists is a capability somebody has to keep deciding about, and that your staff have to believe the decision on. That distinction is the whole point of the column on the left.
Hubstaff bills clients, runs payroll and follows field staff by GPS. If money flows out of the tracked hours, buy Hubstaff — we do not do that at all.
Read the comparison →Time Doctor attributes hours to projects and nudges people when they drift. If you need to know what someone was working on, not just that they were, buy Time Doctor.
Read the comparison →ActivTrak classifies which applications and sites are productive and builds benchmarks from it. If the question is "what is our workday actually made of", buy ActivTrak.
Read the comparison →Teramind exists to catch someone exfiltrating data, and records at the depth that requires. If that is your threat model, nothing on this page substitutes for it.
Read the comparison →Seven tools sorted by the job you are hiring them for, plus the notice and consent obligations that differ by state — the part most shortlists discover after signing.
Read the guide →Each comparison is checked against the other vendor's own documentation, dated, and marked with the month it was reviewed. Where a product beats us we say so in its own section, with the heading "where they win" — not buried in a footnote.
We do not publish competitors' prices. They change more often than we would update the page, and a stale price presented as current is the least defensible thing a comparison can contain. Check theirs directly; ours are all on the pricing page.
If something here has gone out of date — including if you work for one of these vendors — tell us and we will correct it.
